Privacy Policy

1.1Who we are

This website (asta-ventures.ae) is operated by Asta Ventures FZCO (“Asta Ventures”, “we”, “us”), a free zone company registered in Dubai under Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZA) licence no. 16063, with its registered office at IFZA Properties, DSO-IFZA, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy in connection with this website.

1.2Scope of this policy

This policy covers only this corporate website. It does not cover the products, applications or websites of any portfolio company (including JiBiLi), which are separate legal entities and, once operational, will publish and be responsible for their own privacy notices covering onboarding, KYC, credit-decisioning and loan-servicing data. If you are a customer or applicant of a portfolio company, please refer to that company’s own privacy notice, not this one.

1.3What personal data we process

This site does not use a contact or enquiry form. We process only:

• Correspondence you send us directly, for example by email to info@asta-ventures.ae — your name, email address and the content of your message;
• Ordinary technical data generated by visiting the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, collected through standard web-server logs;
• A request made to Google’s font-hosting service (Google Fonts) when the page loads, which may process your IP address under Google’s own privacy policy — see 1.6 below.

1.4Why we process it, and our legal basis

• To respond to enquiries you send us — legitimate interest in communicating with parties who contact us, and, where relevant, to take steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement;
• To keep the site secure and functioning — legitimate interest in the security and integrity of our systems;
• To comply with applicable law where required.

1.5Cookies

This site does not currently deploy analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

1.6Sharing and third parties

We do not sell personal data. The only routine third-party processing is the loading of fonts from Google’s font-hosting infrastructure, which may receive the visitor’s IP address as a technical consequence of the request. We do not otherwise share personal data with third parties except where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

1.7International transfers

The Google Fonts request referred to above may be processed on servers located outside the UAE. We do not otherwise transfer personal data outside the UAE in connection with this site.

1.8Retention

We retain email correspondence only for as long as necessary to address your enquiry and for our internal record-keeping and legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

1.9Your rights

Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PDPL”), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing (including automated decision-making), and to request data portability, subject to the exceptions set out in the PDPL. This applies equally to all visitors and correspondents, regardless of age.
